I realize that I've fallen horribly behind on updating the blog. However, we've all been sick in some form or another since Christmas, which I feel is a good enough excuse. We have been getting alot done though.

We started the parquet living room floor before Christmas and left about a third to finish when we went on vacation. We came back 10 days later to find that the wood had expanded and buckled in some parts, which meant Alex had to spend a day fixing up those areas. But it's finally done and we just have to shine it.

Overall, considering how much effort it took, next time we might think twice and just go for carpet...
